Sometimes I’m just running around, trying to catch up. I feel that way today. No one will shoot me if I don’t get things done but the next step is dependent on the last. I’m having a lot of interesting experiences at the moment. We all are but sometimes I don’t notice when I am and sometimes I pick it up right away. I like to reflect on how things happen—what thoughts and actions preceded certain events. Today I’m thinking about that. It’s always exciting how life unfolds—friendships, work, ideas. I’m very, very happy at the way the artists who share Saturday mornings with me are growing their work. It’s such a privilege and pleasure to share our deepest talents and aspirations with others—to go on a journey together. To see what’s possible. We all want good things for this world. I’m seeing how we accomplish so much working together. And it sure seems richer when we do. So today is just a day of hard work—and gratitude. I have some really beautiful and amazing people in my life. I’m just saying thanks.

I too like to reflect on the ways things come about in our lives, and wonder about their degrees of randomness or inevitability. Either way, it’s always interesting to observe the ripples that one single act can create. Enjoy your day.
